Socso to crack down on errant employers Posted on October 13, 2012, Saturday

KUALA LUMPUR: The Social Security Organisation (Socso)will launch an operation against errant employers starting Nov 1.

The operation is aimed at protecting the welfare of employees who are entitled to the Employment Injury Insurance Scheme and the Invalidity Pension Scheme in the event of an accident at work, said Sosco in a statement.

It said errant employers could be charged under Section 3 (1) of the Social Security Act 1969 which carries imprisonment of up to two years or a fine of up to RM10,000 or both, if convicted.

A total of 6,127 employers were slapped with fines totalling RM1.3 million in 2001 for failing to register their business and employees as well as for the delay in reporting industrial accidents. — Bernama

In Tune specialises in finance and accounting outsourcing, human resource (HR) outsourcing to SME business owners in Malaysia ;that traditionally cannot afford professional services which they now can at a fraction of the cost less the headache; so that they have more time to focus on the business operations that matters to them.

Why hire an executive when you can now get at least one qualified professional with an executive at less than an executive pay?
